Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of VRMS,

Vail Ranch Middle school is asking for your help.  Technology needs on our campus have increased significantly over the past few years.  However, at the same time our school budget is shrinking and we are unable to spend the money necessary to address our many technology issues. Our computer lab for class research and project production has become unusable due to out of date hardware and broken computers.  Our teachers must share the limited number of projectors on our campus for classroom presentations.  Students are missing vital opportunities to use technology in a meaningful way which will help prepare them for success in high school and beyond.

How can you help?  We are simply asking for your tax deductible donations.  We aren’t selling any products, having a jog-a-thon, silent auction or asking for subscriptions.  Our goal is to raise $40,000 by May 25th.  This money will go directly to purchasing new computers to rehabilitate our lab, provide projectors for classrooms, improve the school network and invest in portable tablet labs to be used by students in the classrooms.

Click on the donate button above and help VRMS today.  Make sure to put your student's name in the PayPal section titled "additional information for seller'"  so they can receive their entries for the iPod Touch drawing.  Checks can also be dropped off to the front office; made out to Vail Ranch Middle School with VRMS tech and your child's name in the memo line.  Every donation helps, no matter how small.  Please forward this letter and our video link to anyone you think would be willing to help us reach our goal.
