Vail Ranch is a sixth through eighth grade middle school consisting of approximately 1,200 students. The campus was built in July of 1994, and boasts the latest facilities to ensure the highest quality education. Located just south of Highway 79, our school services the southeastern area of Temecula. Incoming sixth graders come to us primarily from these elementary schools: Pauba Valley, Crowne Hill and Tony Tobin. Our eighth grade students will attend Great Oak High School.
School begins at 8:15 a.m. In addition, 8th period is our P.R.I.D.E. with announcements followed by a concentration on developing effective study habits, including Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) to improve their reading and comprehension.
We have a 8 period schedule. Each period lasts for 51 minutes with a 3 minute passing period. All students have a 10 minute break in the morning and a 30 minute lunch period.
